Unable to control his emotions and sense of deep lost,the Chairman of Adron Group, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing on of Rt. Hon. Otunba (Dr.) Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, the Yeye Oba of Makun Kingdom, popularly known as IJAYA.
Expressing his shock in a tribute filled with heartfelt emotion, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking,described her as a beacon of hope, an exceptional leader, and a compassionate servant who dedicated her life to championing justice, empowering women, and working tirelessly toward societal development.
It would be recalled that until her untimely passage, Rt. Hon. Oriyomi Adewunmi Onanuga ,served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, representing the Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State.
According to the ADRON Homes Boss, late Law Makers contributions to her constituency and the nation at large earned her widespread respect and admiration.
While reflecting on their decade-long relationship, which he said was built on mutual respect and support,Aare Adetola recounted late Onanuga’s efforts in supporting the global vision of Adron Homes, and her instrumental role in the development of the popular Obaruwa Festival in Makun Kingdom.
Describing her as a woman of valor and resilience, Aare Adetola emphasized late Adewunmi Onanuga’s legacy as that of a trailblazer whose charisma, humility, and indomitable spirit inspired countless lives.
“Her courage and loyalty to her constituency, coupled with her ability to lead with dignity, have left an indelible mark on the sands of time”,he said.
While extending his condolences to her family, friends, the people of Ogun State and the entire nation, he prayed for strength and peace for all those affected by her loss, and urged them to take solace in the remarkable legacy she left behind.
