The Victorious Chairman,Aguiyi Ironsi International Market Association, High Chief Chukwuma Onyebinanma, has expressed his unflinching loyalty and solidarity to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This is even as he appreciated the Fatherly roles played by Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu and the Mushin Local Government Area Chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye ,towards resolving the hitherto crisis that bedevilled the market recently.

He said, ” I want to thank the Governor of the state, Mr.Babajide Sanwo Olu for his understanding, especially the Mushin Local Government Area Chairman, Hon Emmanuel Bamigboye, who stood firmly in support of the peace process.We appreciate his maturity,Fatherly Solidarity, advise and roles he has been playing.We equally wish to assure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that the traders are solidly behind his government “, Chief Onyebinanma said.

Chief Onyebinanma , who won the much publicized Aguiyi Ironsi International Market Association election in a landslide, defeated his closest rival , Mr. Ifoh Kelechukwu, who had 105 votes,in yesterday’s highly competitive election , With 557 votes.

In an interview with News Planet International, shortly after his victory at the highly contested election, Chief Onyebinanma,also took time out to thank the Traders, Association Stakeholders, past Union Leaders , especially the Market Leaders, for their patience, support and peaceful comportment before, during and after the elections.

While assuring the traders, Lagosians, their national and international customers, that peace has returned to the market for good , he reiterated his earlier electoral promises to improve on the infrastructural provisions in the market before the end of his second tenure.

As a step forward in his promised infrastructural provisions, the re – elected promised to give a facelift to the entrance and vicinity of the Market, also known as Paramo International Market .

As part of the peace process before the elections, he pointed out that their is a balanced representation at the market now ,with two indigenous persons of Yoruba ethnic extraction as Vice Chairman and Welfare Officer respectively .

Other leaders like the Emeritus Chairman, Chief Emmanuel Mbamara, Market Leaders, Stakeholders and traders on voting queue,who spoke with News Planet International, affirmed the earlier position of their Chairman, while thanking all the parties, especially the hitherto aggrieved groups,for their magnanimity and maturity in resolving the earlier crisis in a brotherly manner.

It would be recalled that crisis had rocked the market recently over misunderstanding on the electoral guidelines and voting permit, which snowballed into litigation and the later intervention of the State government through the Mushin Local Government Area , led by Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye.
