SHEATH YOUR SWORDS : Police Tells Warring Ohanaeze Ndigbo Groups, Delegates Eze  Emmanuel Chukwuakalikamadu, Igbo Leaders, Ndieze, To Make Peace

For the warring Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide lagos State Chapter Factions, who have been at dagger drawn for sometime now, Peace appears to be in the horizon.

This feelers was gathered from some notable, credible Igbo leaders, who were invited by the Police department at the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, FCIID Annex, Alagbon Close, Ikoyi, lagos, in connection with the ongoing fact finding and investigation by the Police.

At the meeting yesterday, between the Lead Investigating Police Officer, The Commissioner of police Mr Chinedu Oko, Psc,has earlier instructed his Deputy Commissioner Of Police ,DCP Ime Udofia, to hand over  the two Igbo Leaders the case to  Adjudicate for two weeks, led by Eze Ndigbo in Oriade LCDA Eze Emmanuel  Chukwuakalikamadu and Eze Chukwuemeka Sylvanus  Onuoha,Ukwumba I of Bende, Eze Igbo of Igbolere Kingdom ,the Police mandated Eze Oriade LCDA and  Eze  Agunaechemba ,to synergize with his fellow Ndiezes, the contending factions, and all other  well meaning Igbo Leaders, to form a committee that will convey a meeting ,with the sole aim of making peace amongst the Warring Ohanaeze Ndigbo factions.

News Planet International, gathered that the Police were emphatic that whereby the peace overtures fails, the Law enforcement Agency, would institute a process,where those found wanting, will be prosecuted in line with the laws of the land.

It was also learnt that the Police department had formally written to the Judiciary,to find out the  authenticity of the Court consent Judgment submitted to them by one of the factions led by Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene.

Speaking to News Planet International earlier today via a phone call, Eze Chimereze Emmanuel Chukwuakalikamadu of Oriade LCDA, noted that the Police mandated him to ask the Warring Ohanaeze Ndigbo factions led by Chief Aguene and Chief Sunday Ossai, to sheath their swords and stop further meetings and offensive publications in the social media space, until the peace Committee concludes its outreach in two weeks time allowed by the Police department.

Meanwhile, it was learnt the Eze Chukwuakalikamadu led peace talk is receiving an appreciable and commendable support from many Igbo leaders, residents and the leaders of the two Warring Ohanaeze Ndigbo Groups.

According to findings, Many Notable personalities of Igbo extraction, both home and Abroad, including Eze Ndigbo in Ibeju Lekki, Eze Ifeanyi,have appealed to the two contending groups and their Principal gladiators , to key into and work with the Eze Chukwuakalikamadu led peace Committee, so as to give peace a chance.
