In what many of his numerous friends, acquaintances and Well-wishers have  described as a ‘mega celebration of an icon while alive’, over 120 distinguished and prominent Nigerians have merged their resources to honor and celebrate a  unique Igbo leader and Philanthropist, whose solid milk of kindness have pegged his name and good works on the sands of time.

Welcome to the deep and unfathomable world of a Renowned detribalized and kind natured freedom fighter of the oppressed and less privileged citizens, Eze Ambassador  Dr. Chika Nwokedi, fondly and popularly addressed as Okpoko 1 .

This young , dynamic undisputed Chairman Igbo Council of Ndieze in Lagos state, whose name reigns beyond Nigerian shores, has within his five decades of earthly sojourn has through selfless, humanitarian and philanthropic gestures garnered and surpassed what richer men above his age grade have achieved.

It is in the light of his noblity , visibility willingness and ever ready to help attitude that over 120 appreciating Nigerians, all dignitaries and people of valour in their own stead, gathered their resources together, to celebrate the 52 birthday of a unique and worthy icon, who has blue blood flowing in his veins, because he is also of a royal and kingly decent or lineage.Indeed, as a mark their seriousness, over 37 of these prominent personalities,have hit the financial mark of their free will pledges as at the time of filing this report last Monday.

One of the great qualities of this great Nigerian, that attracts numerous people to him, is the fact that he is an unassuming, unperturbed and calm headed warrior of some sort, despite his  royal lineage background in Imo State.

 Eze Nwokedi’s love for humanity and philanthropic gestures,knows no boundaries, colour, race, tribe, height or geographic inclination.

However,It was for the sake of love , need for unity and togetherness of his people, Ndigbo from the South East region , that Eze Nwokedi in his God given wisdom and vision that he founded a Social – Cultural, Economic, Political and humanitarian Organization known as” Ndigbo Buru Otu Association” .

This Association since its inception nearly a decade ago, has brought smiles on the faces of its members through its all year round empowerment programs.

Indeed it is an open secret that Over time Widows, Widowers and the less privileged have benefited immensely from Eze Nwokedi’s largesse.

In the words of his numerous admirers, this generous Man,has made his mark and catapulted his name into the anals of heroes history and credible hall of fame.

It was on the account of his golden large heart, milk of kindness and avowed love for humanity that great men and women from different and diverse works of life, gathered resources at this critical economic stage of the country’s development, to accord him a well deserved birthday honor.

Interestingly, Eze Nwokedi , will be marking his birthday on August 3rd and 4th along side 15 other members of the Igbo Buru Otu Association, a group he founded and nursed over 8 years ago .

In a brief chat with this man some describe as an ‘Iroko’, at their new Events Center property, venue of the birthday party, where construction is ongoing, Eze Nwokedi vowed to continue doing good, investing in human resources until God calls him home to rest.

He hinted that there would be enough to eat and drink at the exclusive but unique birthday celebration , where different gifts items will be given out, whereas his members of Igbo Buru Otu Association, will have the chance to test their lucks in a raffle draw, besides the bags of rice, key holders and wrist watches waiting to be carted home.

Infact, on Saturday, August 3rd,2024,all roads leads to the Ijegun venue of the birthday party that many have predicted will set the Internet on fire.Whereas the Eze’s VIP friends will have their own day on Sunday being August 4th, but strictly on invitation.
