It is commonly Said that “Great men are born and not made”.

This aptly describes the case of popular Ochiagha Chi Mbaukwu Ihitte Ezinihitte, a renowned Igbo Kingmaker and Apex Leader ,who represents diverse things to different groups.

As an epitome of great things and an encyclopedia of some sort, some people love and cherish Ochiagha for his large heart , Philantrophic and humanitarian gestures ,others literally worship and rever him on account of his immense contributions in fighting for people’s Rights,justice , equity and freedom .

While many dread him as a natural no nonsense warrior , justice and freedom fighter for the oppressed and downtrodden members of the Society.

Indeed , this explains the innumerable titles, Awards and honors that have been bestowed on him, including some from women groups, who he is their founder and grand patron.

He is also known as : “Ochiagha Mba Amuwo Odofin; Ekpere Chukwu Zara Ndigbo Na’ Amuwo;Ozo Igbo Ndu Na’ Oriade;Oji Motor eme Ogo, amongst many other aliases.

Beyond the Social – Cultural spheres, Ochiagha is a Justice of Peace, ‘JP’ and a very dominant figure in the Roman Catholic Church within his area .

Moreso, he is fully recognized and reckoned with by the political shakers and movers of Nigeria,as a political icon.

This explains why he is transversing the corridors of power at different political trends and engagement

It was on the strength and account of Ochiagha’s rubost communal and individual peace initiatives and successes ,that he was spotted and selected as African Global Peace Ambassador, by ‘Music Africa Awake Foundation’, Organizers of the African Global Peace Summit, in Benin Republic,who last Friday, November 22nd, 2024, Before the Area Commander, Area ‘E’ Police Command, FESTAC, Lagos State, Assistant Commissioner Of Police, ACP Chuks Eburuajah ,significantly honored Chief Onyemaechi IK, ‘JP ‘, at the Abule Ado Palace of the authentic Eze Ndigbo in Amuwo Odofin LGA, Eze Udo, (Representing Peace), Eze Augustine Sunday Ojukwu.

News Planet International reports that immediately the award was was conferred on Ochiagha, guests, Igbo and Yoruba leaders at the Palace began spontaneous jubilation and celebration, as torrents of praises, encomium poured like torrents for the recipient, who was overwhelmed by the love showered on him.

The Organizers , led by South Africa based Music Icon, Prince Emeka Ojukwu,had earlier before the presentation, said that Ochiagha was selected based on his performance and glare achievement in peace initiatives , adding that the name of the Palace and Eze , Eze Udo ( Peace) is symbolic to the mission of their Foundation.

Speaking while appreciating the honor accorded him as “African Global Peace Ambassador”, Ochiagha thanked God Almighty for His mercies and life, he appreciated the Organizers, the guests, Area ‘E’ Commander, ACP Chuks Eburuajah,Eze Udo, Eze Ojukwu of Amuwo Odofin , and his cabinet, Amuwo Odofin Council Of Chiefs, which he is their Chairman and said that the award is a tonic that would ginger him to do more in ensuring peaceful co- existence in the society.

In a lighter mood, he humorously stated that the Peace Ambassador Honor has now tired his hands from fighting wars.

It would be recalled that Eze Dr. Ambassador Augustine Sunday Ojukwu, is also a great Philanthropist, running a foundation ,catering for Children of Many less privileged members of the society .
