POLICE HUNT FOR DOUBLE DATING LADY IN WHOSE HOUSE HER MAN FRIEND WAS HACKED TO DEATH BY A JEALOUS RIVAL

Police in Ogun State are in search of a lady identified as Kafayat Sakariyau, in whose apartment two of her rival men friends fought over right to sex ,leading to the death of one.
It was learnt that Detectives from Ogun State Command are hunting for , Kafayat in whose apartment a jealous boyfriend Bisi Omoniyi, reportedly killed another of her lover, Akinyemi wahab Alani, at the weekend for attempting to deny him ( Bisi ) the opportunity of passing the night with Kafayat.
The 25-year old Omoniyi ,had suspected that 50-year old Akinyemi Wahab (a.k.a Ajiolopon), was having sexual relationship with Kafayat and that led him to kill the suspected rival, Alani, by using a cutlass to murder him.
Omoniyi, has been arrested by operatives of Ogun State Police Command in connection with the crime, which attracts life imprisonment if he is tried and found guilty before the Court.
This was disclosed by the Ogun State Police Spokesman, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed that the suspect was in Police custody undergoing interrogation while the lady in question is on the run.
DSP Oyeyemi confirmed that the suspect was arrested following a distress call received by the Police at Owode Egbado Divisional Headquarters, that a young man has macheted another man to death in Ajilete town.
“Upon the distress call, the Divisional Police Officer, Owode Egbado, CSP Olabisi Elebute, quickly mobilized the divisional patrol team to the scene, where the suspect was promptly arrested and the victim was rushed to the hospital but was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.”
“Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, Alani was with the woman friend, Kafayat Sakariyau, in her room apartment at Ajilete, purposely to pass the night with her when the suspect, who also intended to pass the night with the same Kafayat came knocking but was denied entry.”
Omoniyi, who came from Ibasa area of Okeodan, was said to have forced his way into the woman’s room and met his rival there in a position he (the suspect) described as unacceptable to him.
Consequently, a fight broke out between them and the suspect picked a cutlass in the room and macheted the victim to death.
According to the Police spokesman, “Corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the General Hospital mortuary for autopsy, while the woman at the center of the crisis has since taken to flight”.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and diligent prosecution.
