Pastor From Hell, 4 Others , Nabbed For Child Theft, As Police Rescues Stolen Two months Old Baby At Naming Ceremony Organized By Fake Parents

In what appeared like a fairy tale, Detectives attached to Oko-oba Police Division, under the Lagos state police Command, have arrested a self acclaimed Man of God,Pastor Peter Udoh and four other members of an unorganized Child Trafficking syndicate, over alleged stealing and selling of a two months old baby boy for a whooping N4.3 million cumulatively.
The suspects were apprehended for their individual involvement in a child trafficking operation ,following a report from the mother of the two-month old missing boy.
According to the police, the mother of the missing child reported that one Gloria Sunday , absconded with her son to an unknown destination on July 11, 2024.
With that lead, detectives swung into action which led to the arrest of Gloria Sunday ,whom during interrogation confessed to selling the baby for Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦500,000) to one Pastor Peter Udoh .
Pastor Udoh who was subsequently arrested in Ikene Town, Ogun State, admitted reselling the child for One Million, Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (₦1,450,000) to one Loretta Nelson , who was then also apprehended in Festac Town, Lagos.
She confessed to selling the baby for Two Million, Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (₦2,350,000).
Through further investigations, operatives arrested the final buyers of the baby, identified as Mr. and Mrs. James Uwam, during the naming ceremony of the stolen child.
The state command image Maker, Superintendent of Police, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, stated in a press statement that all the suspects will be arraigned in court at the conclusion of investigation.
