Oriade, Amuwo Odofin Elites, Knock Chief Chukwukadibia Umenweke, Over Desecration Of Igbo Customs, Says Eze Chukwuakalikamadu Remain Only Authentic Eze Ndigbo In Oriade LCDA. Watch Videos Below

It is not yet Uhuru for the embattled claimant to the Oriade LCDA Ezeship Throne, Chief Chukwukadibia Umenweke, who truly was an “Obi Ndigbo ” in Amuwo Odofin LGA, under late Eze Ogidi,but now resident at Ilufe, Ojo Local Government Area, Lagos State.

This is even so ,as prominent Elites in Oriade LCDA and Amuwo Odofin LGA, have tagged him an Imposter to the Oriade LCDA Ezeship Throne,disowned him and his co – travellers in the Factional Ohanaeze Ndigbo led by  Chief Edwin Egboka, also called “Eze – Eziokwu”.

Obviously irked by Chief Chukwukadibia’s audacity, this credible, notable Igbo leaders and Elites  from Oriade LCDA and Amuwo Odofin LGA,  frowned at Chief Chukwukadibia’s penchant for crisis, confusion and trouble,thus describing his recent unprovoked actions and audio messages,as  ” unethical rumblings emanating from an Imposter’s opposition camp, over Oriade LCDA Ezeship Claims”.

Coming under the aegis of Oriade LCDA/Amuwo Odofin LGA Elites, the group have debunked the purported Ezeship Claims by Chief Chukwukadibia, which they vexed was erroneously backed up by a splinter/ Factional Ohanaeze Ndigbo group ,led by Chief Egboka.

News Planet International reports that the Elites have categorically  confirmed that Chief Chukwukadibia was only made Obi in 2016, during the reign of late Eze Ogidi of Amuwo Odofin, hence couldn’t have transformed and backdated himself to Eze Ndigbo overnight, despite attending functions with genuine Ndiezes over time, whereas Oriade LCDA was not even in existence as at 2015, he claimed to have been made Eze by unidentified person.

The Elites therefore challenged Chief Chukwukadibia to prove his phantom Ezeship Throne claim,by providing date, day, month, year, venue of coronation, pictures, video evidence and the name of the Officiating Kingmakers during his secret inauguration in 2015.

It would be recalled that Pastor Paul Eze , was late Eze Ogidi Palace Secretary as at 2015  to 2016 , Just as Eze Oriade LCDA, Eze Emmanuel Chukwuakalikamadu, was Ohanaeze Ndigbo Chairman, Amuwo Odofin, from 2012 to 2016, when Chief Chukwukadibia was selected, listed and installed as “Obi Ndigbo ” in Amuwo Odofin, during the reign of late Eze Ogidi and Oriade LCDA was not in existence as at then.

The Elites therefore posed some questions to Chief Chukwukadibia Umenweke, to provide answers to: 1,  how come he appeared as Obi Amuwo Odofin LGA in 2015/2016 Cabinet publication? ; 2, How come nobody knew, witnessed or participated and no evidence of  his phantom Ezeship Throne coronation, not even former Late Eze Ogidi’s cabinet members, whereas Eze Sunday Ojukwu’s coronation, who was Eze Ogidi’s Onowu, was witnessed by many ?.3, How come he is claiming Ezeship Throne of Oriade LCDA, that was not in existence as at 2015?.

 While mocking the purported favourable judgment to Chief Chukwukadibia, by Eze Chika Nwokedi led Council Of Ndieze, which they said is contrary to Igbo Customs, and norms .

The  Elites are made up of Notable dignitaries like Barrister Fabian Onwughalu, Former President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, lagos State Chapter, Kingmaker ,High Chief Ikechukwu,aka  Ochiagha , Eze Anthony Elui, Eze Ndigbo Amuwo Odofin LGA, Pastor Paul Eze , Chief Peter Okafor, Eze Chinedu Modozie, Chief Chinedu Omambala, Chief  Emeka Obi, Chief Njaka Emeka, Chief Leonard Ebirim and Ohanaeze Ndigbo Chairman, Oriade LCDA,Chief Victor Nnotum, amongst others.

 The group frowned at the deliberate brewing of crisis,beating of war drums and fanning embers of hate by Chief Chukwukadibia camp.

They noted that the Purported judgement is laughable and holds no water , adding that even the Purported Ndieze Council, lacks legitimacy and is  unrecognized by the Igbo Speaking Community Board Of Trustees,BOT ,led by Dr. Jonathan Nnaji .

Speaking on what they called  ” worthless Tissue paper Certificate” issued recently by Ohanaeze Ndigbo faction led by Chief Edwin Egboka, after Chief Chukwukadibia’s publicly gifted a Cow and drinks donations , Chief  Nnotum , who is the Oriade LCDA Ohanaeze Ndigbo Chairman, under Chief Sunday Ossai ,lampooned Egboka led faction and described their actions as ” shameless stomach infrastructure Public declaration by a faction of Chief Solomon Aguene’s expired Ohanaeze Ndigbo , led by Egboka. (who he affirmed was initially made Chairman by Eze Emmanuel Chukwuakalikamadu ,while he was Chairman , old Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Amuwo Odofin ) .

“This is Desecration Of Igbo Customs and norms, how can any sane person dare  publicly declare Chief Chukwukadibia Umenweke as Eze Ndigbo Oriade LCDA, where he does not reside or even known by the Host Community?, a Man who resides at Ilufe area of Ojo local government Area,  Sells his Tiles at Abule Ado, Amuwo Odofin LGA .This is total madness, Eze Elui declared.

 “It is indeed funny and an aberration that Chief Chukwukadibia,who the so called Nwokedi’s Council of Ezendigbo in their blind folded judgment ,declared as Eze and was first said to have been crowned Ezendigbo in Oriade LCDA since 2015 , but is just  getting Recognition certificate from Ohanaeze Ndigbo faction in 2024, after Cow and drinks donations. This is nine (9) solid years after the Purported secret and hidden coronation in 2015, Chief Nnotum added.

According to Ochiagha, “Ndigbo are not fools and will not be fooled by some disgruntled elements, whose sole interest is not cultural upliftment but what they can eat, drink and money they get”.

The group queried why Chief Chukwukadibia Umenweke,  hurriedly ran to Chief John Uche, known as Akpatinshegbe, crawling on the floor and begged to be crowned inside Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu’s palace, just two years ago ,if truly he was made Eze Ndigbo in 2015, as he claimed.

 In his desperation , Chief Chukwukadibia, also, using the same back door pattern,  paid for and collected certificate of Ezeship from Chief Sunday Udeh’s Igbo Speaking Community faction recently , said the group.

Respected Igbo leader and Emeritus President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo lagos State Chapter, Barrister Fabian Onwughalu, aka, Agunaechemba, stated clearly that the only Eze Ndigbo in Oriade LCDA, is Eze Udo, Eze Chimereze, Eze  Emmanuel Chukwuakalikamadu.

In ceiling and resting the case finally,the group stated Thus: “For the avoidance of any doubt, Eze Udo, Eze Chimereze, Emmanuel Chukwuakalikamadu , remains the only authentic , properly and openly  crowned Eze Ndigbo in Oriade LCDA, which took place on November, in 2021, before Igbo residents, Kingmakers led by Kingmaker Ochiagha IK, Emeritus Presidents of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, including certification by same Chief Egboka after he was  installed in Oriade LCDA as Eze Ndigbo”.

Going down memory lane, the Elites referred to a 2016 , Magazine publication, during the reign of late Eze Ogidi, of Old Amuwo Odofin,where Chief Chukwukadibia, was conspicuously identified as Obi , which was written against his name as  Obi Of Amuwo Odofin.

 However, in a contradictory statement credited to Chief Egboka by an  Online Newspaper last Saturday, 7th December, 2024, at St Pat’s Private School, Alakija area of Lagos State, he was said to have spoken through both sides of his mouth, when he stated 

that his faction of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Oriade LCDA, duly recognized Eze  Chukwuakalikamadu as Eze Ndigbo , Eze Udo in Oriade LCDA.(See picture of Egboka handing over certificate to Eze Chukwuakalikamadu)

 In a recent interview with News Planet International, Eze Chukwuakalikamadu in response to the Ezeship tussle,referred to a land mark Judgement by the Supreme Council Of Ndieze Ndigbo, led by Eze Lawrence , which clearly stated that there was no evidence of Chief, “Obi” Chukwukadibia, having ever been crowned an Eze Ndigbo Oriade.

According to him,”the Supreme Council Of Ndieze Ndigbo, had in the land mark Judgement, recognized Me, Eze Chimereze Emmanuel Chukwuakalikamadu,as the genuine Eze Ndigbo in Oriade LCDA”.

He continued: ” I Eze Ndigbo Oriade LCDA,Eze Emmanuel Chukwuakalikamadu, was Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Amuwo Odofin LGA, from 2012 to 2016 and beyond, how come I and the entire Ohanaeze Ndigbo never ever heard of Chukwukadibia’s coronation as Eze Oriade, an LCDA that was not in existence then”.

Again, “let it be on record that I made Edwin Egboka Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo but its unfortunate that some people are ungrateful “, Eze Oriade stated 

Eze Chukwuakalikamadu ,expressed satisfaction that the issue of who is Ezendigbo in Oriade LCDA had long been  resolved with the judgment of the Supreme Council of Ndieze , followed by  the public presentation of certificate of recognition by the  host community, all relevant Igbo Associations including both factions of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to him, adding that any other contrary opinion, is emanating from a serious jaundiced position and should not be taken seriously.

 He therefore reminded all Igbo residents in Oriade LCDA,of his earlier advice during his first Ofala and Igbo Community Colloquium , urging them to be vigilant, focused and peaceful with the host community, because some misdirected and disgruntled elements are plotting to sow a seed of discord and confusion.

He further promised to continue to play his leadership role as both father and leader of Ndigbo in Oriade LCDA, which he admitted ,he has demonstrated since his genuine Coronation in  November 2021.
