Nigerian Lady Shot Dead By Her Italian Husband Over Divorce Issues

A sojourn that began four years ago in Italy for 31-year-old Nigerian; Amenze Rita, has ended abruptly as she was reportedly murdered by her Italian husband on Friday.
Amenze was shot dead on Friday morning in presence of her colleagues in the parking lot of Mf Mushroom, a company where she worked in Noventa Vicentina.
It was gathered that the suspect, Pierangelo Pellizzar (61 years Old) laid an ambush for his wife about 7.30am and shot her four times, killing her instantly.
After murdering Amenze, he reportedly escaped from the crime scene aboard a grey Cherokee Jeep which was later found abandoned at his brother’s house.
However, the Carabinieri (Italian Police) are said to be currently on hunt for the suspect, who is said to be armed and dangerous in nature.
Italian media reported that Amenze was killed because she filed a suit for divorce after she returned from Nigeria a week ago. It was however not clear if they had irreconcilable issues that could have prompted the divorce attempt, neither could it be confirmed if they were living separately before the dastard act.
The late Amenze was said to have migrated to Italy in 2017 through Libya and got married to the Italian man in 2018. It could not be ascertained if the couple had given birth to children before the incident.
