MONKEY VILLAGE DANGEROUS LOVE: ANGRY JILTED LADY SET EX-LOVER’S HOUSE, GIRLFRIEND ABLAZE

Unable to let go, a 19 years old angry jilted girl, Jemila Ibrahim, has set his Ex- lovers apartment ablaze. Jemila, was also alleged to have set his former boyfriend’s new girlfriend, Rabi, ablaze and in the process, killing her rival. The suspect who is cooling off her heels at the detention facility of the Lagos State Police Command, was arrested along with her 21 years old friend, Fatima Mohammed, of Monkey Village, Festac Area, Lagos, for setting ablaze the house of one Mohammed Yusuf, of Monkey Village, Lagos State, and his girlfriend, Rabi, on 18th November, 2020 at 5.30pm.


Mohammed Yusuf, an ex-lover to Jemila, Said that he had the hint of the incident and rushed to the house where he met his house in flames but manged to rescue Rabi, his new lover, from the inferno and took her to the hospital, where she gave up the ghost on 21st November, 2020, at about 12pm.
Mohammed had alleged his former lover, Jemila Ibrahim, of infidelity before they broke up; he later met and fell in love with his new lover, Rabi, that was caught up in the inferno.

Suspect Jemila, and her friend, Fatimo, of Monkey Village, who accompanied Jemila to commit the heinous crime, were arrested by Police Operatives attached to the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, CSP Chike Oti’s Satellite Police Division of the Lagos State command.


The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, who condemned the crime, has ordered that the matter be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, CID, Panti, Yaba, for discreet investigation. CP Odumosu, was said to have also vowed to go after those who engage in crimes and social vices in order to get Lagos State rid of criminals and criminality.


He however, encouraged Lagosians to shun taking laws into their hands; noting that jungle justice will only truncate the administration of justice and such could be counter productive.
