LAGOS MULTIPLE AUTO CRASH : One Dead, 3 Injured , As LASTMA Officials Rescues Accident Victims

It was a sad day yesterday at Cele bus stop, along Apapa – Oshodi Expressway, as a Mack truck conveying twin 20 feet Container had an accident with a Volkswagen commercial bus and two SUVS in Lagos State.
Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) today rescued passengers inside a commercial bus that involved in an accident with a 40fts container along Apapa- Oshodi by PM Filling Station, Cele inward Mile 2 area of Lagos.
The accident which occurred around 1:09pm had the driver of a commercial bus with registration number (AKD 469 XZ) who died instantly with three others injured , while two other private cars were also involved in the accident (Toyota Highlander AGL 366 FP and Toyota 4Runner AAA 353 FH)
The corpse of the dead commercial bus driver was immediately handed over to his wife and family members who came to the accident scene.
According to the Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, Mr. Adebayo Taofiq’s statement, Other passengers rescued by Lastma Officials were handed over to Medical personnel (Emergency Responder) who came to the accident scene.
