IGBO SOLID AMITY : Igbo Ekunie Global Union, Make Waves, Holds First Stakeholders/ Administrators Conference. Watch Video Below

In what Many Igbos world Wide have acknowledged as a reincarnation of the “Old Igbo Union”,where unity,brotherhood, Togetherness and love held sway,  Numerous Igbos home and in Diaspora, have commended the Birth of “Igbo Ekunie Global Union”, praying that its success story will wipe away the hitherto ethnic shame, especially as many other Igbo gatherings have either failed, been factionalized or even have Litigations in Courts.

Indeed, yesterday, September 8th, 2024, would for long remain evergreen in members memories , as during the Association’s first Administrators cum Stakeholders Confab,  felicitations, encouragement , Words of Advice and good wishes poured like torrents, even from some respectable, highly placed Igbo sons from Abuja, such as Chief Jideofor and Lt.Col. U.A Okeke, both in unism, proffered their wise counsels , while at the same time pledged to work with “Igbo Ekunie Global Union”.

Earlier in the meeting that started with prayer at about 2pm, Members showered an unlimited Encomiums , which were poured on the visionary Founder of Igbo Ekunie Global Union , Onowu, Prince Anymore Ezejioha, aka “Obuteife,Apiti ” and the resilient, kind, intelligent, adorable and hard working first ever Igbo Female President – General, PG, Lady  Maryanne Amogechukwu Okonkwo, for the much needed and prayed for initiative ,aimed at truly uniting and restoring Igbo dignity.

Speaking, Onowu Ezejioha, explained the agitation behind his novel vision, noting that the failures of many Igbo Associations, was a wake up call and a tonic that gingered  his God Giving visionary concept of “Igbo Ekunie Global Union”.

While formally presenting the PG to the gathering , the Founder emphasized that the choice of a female President General, was Divine and God motivated, as Lady Maryanne , according to him, “has received global approval and acceptance since she came to office, adding that many educated, well placed and wealthy dignitaries from Igbo extraction, acknowledged the need to allow women chance in Organizational leadership”.

Appreciating all Igbos behind her choice as the first ever Diaspora Igbo female President General ,Lady Maryanne , expressed her desire to serve the Igbo Nation and change the narrative.

The admirable and soft spoken First Igbo Female President General, collaborated earlier statements by the Founder and others, and confirmed that “Igbo Ekunie Global Association”, was a product of grace.

She stated thus , “we pledge to render service through humanity and ensure that our principles will revolve on the ideals of One united People, one voice, one people, without attachment to state of origin.Let us adopt it as Igbo vision laced with one love and togetherness, which will usher in accelerated development.

Lady Maryanne,who believes in youths empowerment and Business Aide through empowerment, pledged that the new Association would establish Trust Funds, such as Education Trust Fund and Investments Trust Fund, would also build Cottage industries in the villages, towns and rural communities in the heart of Igbo land.

Further commending the Founder for necessary and needed expositions that is imparting on her new office, PG Maryanne, enjoined Igbos to engage in Information Sharing and scholarship, noting that such attitudes would engender unity and progress for the Igbo race.

According to the PG, ” these are the attractions for Igbo Ekunie, an Igbo global movement,born through Grace”.

The Special guest from Abuja, Chief  Jideofor, accompanied by a respected Igbo icon,Lt. Col A.U Okeke, praised God for the wisdom behind the Union, he advocated that the Association should prove its worth by forging ahead with what it has, as expansion will naturally follow once Ndigbo world Wide begin to feel the organizational impact.

Visibly full of interesting determinations, all Administrators and stakeholders who spoke, not only exhumed unparalleled resolve to join forces with the PG and the Founder, but vowed to work towards achieving the goals and aspirations of Igbo Ekunie Global Union.

Prince Ken Ilokansi;Sis Juliet ibekwe;Alaedu Obianuju; Ejike Daniel Nwankwo ;Emmanuel Ifeanyi Edom ;Paul Chijioke ;Tonia Chiwetalu Ojimba;Kingsley Chukwuma Omeokezue;Emeka Okonkwo ;Celine Okoebor;Elizabeth Ebirim ;Patience Ochonma ;Amb. Mrs Maureen Akpanabe.While the Special Guests were Chief Jideofor;LT Col. U.A Okeke and Jideofor Victoria .

A minute silence was observed in reverence to the Soul of one of the Administrators that died recently , Nze Peter Omenife, aka Paloka.

Igbo Ekunie Global Union is presently operating and administered under the leadership of :Founder:  Onowu Anymore Ezejioha; President – General: Lady Maryanne Amogechukwu Okonkwo; International Coordinator: Lady Angel Ifeoma Raven: Assistant International Coordinator: Reverend Ifeanyi Obiechefu: Secretary General: Pastor Ifeanyi Nwefuru and Women Leader: Chief ( Mrs) Chinwe Nwune.

Before the Closing Prayers, food, drinks, Kola nuts, vegetable and peanuts courtesy of the PG,were not in short supply, as Miss Tonia Chiwetalu Ojimba, ensured that all were properly served and satisfied .
