“I am Still The Authentic Ohanaeze Ndigbo President ” —- Say’s Lord Mayor, Ambassador Solomon Aguene, Vows Sunday Ossai,Mike Orji ,Eze Remy Anyamele, Risks Imprisonment Over Contemptuous Publication In Sun Newspaper

Following what he described as contemptuous statement published in the Daily Sun Newspaper of April 12, ,2024, Ohanaeze Ndigbo President, Lagos State Chapter, Lord Mayor, Ambassador Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, has warned that the purported Factional leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Sunday Ossai, Mike Orji and Eze Remy Anyamele , risks terms of imprisonment.

Taking the trio to the cleaners, while  restating his Position as the legitimate lagos Chapter President of the Pan – Igbo Socio -Cultural Organization, Ambassador Aguene, who said he has been helping Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos Chapter ,despite his International recognition and engagement, vows to take a decisive actions against those disobeying the Lagos State High Court Consent Judgment.

Ambassador Aguene, who threatened arrest and immediate action to re- activate  the contempt of court proceedings against Chief Ossai and his collaborators , challenged those against his legitimate leadership in lagos State,to seek redress in court with a view to vacating his court consent Judgment or risk imprisonment for deliberately flouting a Lagos State High Court Judgement.

Lord Mayor Aguene, who reminded Chief Ossai’s factional group of the wise counsel of their formal legal Adviser, Barrister Nweke, who Aguene said withdrew his legal service to the faction, after warning them of the consequences of conducting what he called “the Kangaroo election that brought Sunday Ossai,in  disobedience to his court consent Judgment”, vowed to make Ossai’s faction face prosecution once  the grace period he graciously gave them expires.

In an interview with the News Planet International earlier today held from his ikoyi private office, Friday,April 12,2024, Ambassador  Aguene who was visibly angry over Sunday Ossai’s penchants for disrespecting lagos State and it’s Judiciary, described Ossai as an “inconsequential, inept and financially bankrupt imposter lacking capacity”.

Aguene said, ” For the upteemth time, let the public be aware that Chief Sunday Ossai is not the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos state.An unstable Character that has no verifiable visible office address, no women and Youth Wings of his purported group, always on the move , holding his hustlers group meetings from Ojez hotel to Old School at the National Stadium can not continue to parade himself as Ohanaeze Ndigbo President”.

He Said : ” The genuine and authentic Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State has office at 13 James Robertson Street Surulere Lagos State, so , let Ossai tell the world his office address “, Aguene challenged.

Continued He,  : “Besides these facts, according to  Ohanaeze Ndigbo Constitution and bye laws, an Onowu cannot be a President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo. Sunday Ossai is an Onowu, hence can’t be Ohanaeze Ndigbo President and that was one of the reasons Barrister Fabian Onwuhalu refused to allow Onowu Everest Ozonweke,to become Ohanaeze Ndigbo President in Lagos state after his tenure”.

Continuing Further, Aguene, who said he was amused by the character and caliber of sycophants surrounding Ossai at the purported press briefing , noted that such gluttonous people  like “Chief Mike Orji , whose stock in trade is to be running errands and be very visible wherever they are sharing free food and drinks, hence an Oh! yes figure , makes the Press briefing a child’s play”.

On the statement credited to Eze Remy Anyamele, Ambassador Aguene,  emphasized that Eze Anyamele ,remains one of the obvious names  in the list of those making mockery of Lagos State Government and the State Judiciary, which he said has been submitted for prosecution actions.

” To put record straight, these emergency Council of Chiefs at the purported press briefing are all jobless hustlers and members of the Cabal causing crisis in lagos State.For instance,Remy Anyamele is not an Eze Ndigbo.He was a sacked Nigerian Customs and Exercise staff, who i made Secretary and later suspended and sacked him for pilfering and stealing some portions of the cow meat donated to Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos. He claimed to be a Chief but no one knows when, who and where he got the faceless Chieftaincy title. He has continued to parade himself as Eze Ndigbo in Ikosi, when he could not even buy a cow for Oha – Ndi- Eze or perform the necessary rites”, Aguene said.

 Ambassador Aguene, recounted how Eze Anyamele visited his office to beg for recognition as Eze Ndigbo and leader of the Yorubas in Ikosi. ” He came to my office kneeling down and begging me to grant him mandate as an Eze Ndigbo and leader of the Yorubas in Ikosi but I rebuked him and warned him of the consequences of what he was plotting and because of that, he turned against me “.

Debunking what he called erroneous interpretation to the purported Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide President General, PG, Chief Engineer Emmanuel Iwuanyawu’s endorsement of Ossai, Aguene responded thus : Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu is very civilized , enlightened and law abiding to support this illegality, or encourage disrespect and disobedience of a Constitutional High Court Consent Judgment, when in Ebonyi State, Lagos State, Presidency and his own Imo State, it is all Court Judgement on their various electoral issues.What the PG specifically said was that “it was Sunday Ossai that was presented to him by the  Cabal and that he was not aware of the Lagos crisis and my Court Consent Judgement. Infact ,very soon ,Chief Iwuanyawu will know the antics of the cabal and hustlers pushing and hiding behind Sunday Ossai and their illegitimate group'”. 

Warning of imminent legal implications and consequences of the factions continued flouting of the court consent Judgment. Aguene warned that “ignorance of the law is not an excuse as Ossai and his lawless group are risking imprisonment.Very soon they will all have their day in the court , because the high court judgment is not a tissue paper”. 

Hinting Igbos in Lagos of his possible Successor as Ohanaeze Ndigbo President,at the expiration of his tenure in 2026, Lord Mayor Aguene, stated thus :

 ” Iam still the authentic Ohanaeze Ndigbo President, Lagos State Chapter, until 2026, when I will hand over power to another worthy, capable, industrious, self made Leader” . 

“Igbos need a man of capacity because Ohanaeze Ndigbo doesn’t get Allocation from government.So,we don’t need a jobless man,who will be going Cap -In – Hand begging for money to conduct even meetings.we need a man with strong political ,Socio -Cultural and economic contact and support, who should be able to take Ohanaeze Ndigbo to a greater height”, Amb. Aguene said.

According to him, ” we can no longer leave Ohanaeze Ndigbo in the hands of Jobless poor men who lacks required contact and leadership skills.The era of leading Ohanaeze Ndigbo from a room apartment and beer parlour ended during Barrister Fabian Onwuhalu’s regime”.

He also said that : ” Those fronting Chief Sunday Ossai, knows very well that he is not a leader, has no leadership acumen,lacks needed capacity, has no useful knowledge, no formidable relationship and no sensible contacts even in Lagos Island ,where the crop of Igbo business and industrial Titians are residing. Ossai’s contact ends at the yam market in Ketu and mile 12, where he can not even afford to buy a trailer load of yams”.

Blaming the crisis on Senseless,Selfish Igbo hustlers, he said : “Those Sponsoring Ossai at the detriment of Igbo solid amity, brotherhood, peace and Nations pride, are merely using him for selfish, stomach infrastructure reasons.They blind fold him like a blind man which he is, using him to beg for money, after which they will give him 2 or 3 percent of the begging proceeds “.

Lord Mayor Aguene,  a  United Nations, UN, Peace Ambassador, who re-iterated his earlier promise to hand over the affairs of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos state to a choice self made man and born leader that would take the Organization to a greater height, further announced that his un named successor is from ” Imo State, a wealthy patriotic Igbo Son and owner of over 12 Companies, employing over 800 workers and property owner resident in Ikoyi, he  is my anointed Successor come 2026 “.

It would be recalled that the Daily Sun Newspaper ,has reported that “The Council of Chiefs, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos chapter, has restated its allegiance to the leadership of Chief Sunday Ossai.

Chief Ossai was also quoted to have insisted that he was the authentic and duly elected president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos, which Ambassador Aguene has vowed to send him to prison for Contempt of a Lagos High Court Judgement that granted him Consent Judgment to remain in office until 2026.
