Hungry Thief Beg Captors For Bread And Soft Drink Immediately He was Caught Attempting To Break Into A provision Shop

An alleged serial thief , notorious for shop breaking around Akesan road, Igando area of Alimosho LGA, Lagos, Salisu Sanni, who was early Monday morning nabbed by Eagle eyed vigilante men, shocked his Captors when he begged them for bread and soft drink.

The middle aged Suspect, who claimed to be President Muhammad Buhari’s brother from Katsina State, was caught between the hours of 4am to 5am , while attempting to break into a provision Shop located at 61 old Akesan road, Igando Alimosho LGA, Lagos.

Sanni , whose hands and legs were tied up by the local neirhbourhood security outfit shortly after he was caught, while lying down inside a shallow water channel (gutter), immediately started begging. ” I beg I no go doam again, I dey hungry that is why I go there .I beg give me bread and soft drink,”he begged. The shop owner identified as Mr. Ndubuisi,who obliged and gave the thief a loaf big bread and soft drink, lamented that the incident was not the first time thieves had broken into his shop and carted away his goods. He however commended the agility of the security outfit in the area. While Sanni was undergoing interrogation, two unidentified persons who said that they had fallen victim to him , confronted him, exposing his past criminal records, which he did not deny. Following the expose , the vigilante despatched message to the condemned items refuse dumpsite where he claimed to be working, requested their leader to come, identify and pay the suspects security breach fine. Similarly, another suspected thief, identified as Seyi Adeleke, was nabbed while attempting to break into a Generator and Motorcycle Spare Parts Shop located at the same 61 old Akesan road, Igando area of Lagos . News planet International .com reports that the incident happened on June 21,2022, along old Akesan road Igando Alimosho LGA,near Galaxy hotel,at about 5am . According to our Correspondent, who witnessed the incident while on his way to work, the suspect who is known in the neighborhood as a Distributor of Bread from a local bakery situated at Olonwunla bus stop area, nearby the crime scene, confessed that he was there to collect engine oil for his distribution motorcycle which he claimed got stocked on his way to the bakery. The head of the local vigilante security outfit identified as Mr. Sunny Olumide Akinjare, who doubted the veracity of the suspects story ,dispatched two of his men to confirm the suspects story in the presence of the Shop owner, Mrs Emmanuel, who was invited through telephone call to the crime scene. However, the messengers who returned with the suspects motorcycle to the scene of the crime reported that Adeleke lied as his motorcycle which he claimed was stocked on his way was found safely package at the bakery, where it was retrieved . Following pleas from the suspects relations and friends who thronged to the crime scene, where the suspect had his hands tied to his back , the vigilante security outfit released Adeleke after flogging him some strokes of Cain and handing down a fine of N5000 for said security breach.
