Eze Ndigbo Of Lagos State, Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu Clears The Air, Lampoon Detractors Over Igbo Speaking Community Saga

The Apex Eze Ndigbo and the Founding Father of Igbo Community Center in Lagos State,Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu , has warned disgruntled elements bent on denigrating the integrity of Igbos and Igbo  Community in lagos State to repent and desist from such acts or face the Music .

Eze Nwachukwu, a renowned Industrialist and reverred “Ochiagha” Igbo title holder from his home town Obodo Ukwu in Imo state,was speaking yesterday on the heels of recent leadership crisis bedeviling factions of the Igbo Speaking Community in lagos.

While deploying his elder statesman wisdom to address the leadership saga, as well as debunk what many Igbo leaders have since described as ” deliberate lies, frivolous and  reckless statements cum meaningless newspaper publication sponsored by some disgruntled elements “.

 Ochiagha Obodo Ukwu , popularly known as “IGBO I”, further described  those behind the publication against Igbo Community, as  ‘perpetual Never do wells’, adding that their fruitless failed mission was aimed at tarnishing the age long legacies and integrity of the foremost Igbo Community Union in the state.

Eze Nwachukwu, who enviably and unarguably had long been recognized as respected Igbo leader, authentic Apex Eze Ndigbo In Lagos state,by credible, responsible Igbo residents in Diaspora and the political and Cultural leadership of the Yoruba host community , lambasted those he described as confutionist ,bootlickers and beneficiaries of Igbo crisis, to immediately mend their evil ways or face the ugly consequences.

According to him, “Igbo Community in lagos State, situated at Nwachukwu Drive,Okota, Lagos,which Iam the Founder,is the parent body of all the Igbo Associations in lagos State, be it Ohanaeze, Igbo Speaking Community, etc, hence any group that comes to the Center is welcomed with open arms and is secured.Becouse we are like Oxygen that gives life to all Associations in lagos State. Infact any Association that do not recognize this fact or failed to be recognized by us is an Orphan Association because it has no root, no parent body”.

Explaining further why the Igbo Speaking Community faction celebrated their New Yam Festival at the Igbo Community Center, Eze Ndigbo Lagos state,narrated how the Igbo Speaking Community faction led by Chief Sunday Eze ,Chief Okenze Tochukwu Anadu and others, came to the Igbo Community Center to seek for Justice and fair play.”And as we are the father of all the Associations in lagos, moreso ,based on our principles and tradition which allows Every Igbo Associations access to the Center, we received and welcomed them ,and they had their New Yam Festival here, pending when the political issues dividing the Igbo Speaking Community factions and their court case are settled.Which indeed any other Association is permitted and will be allowed to enjoy same privilege”.

He warned against reckless statements and insinuations of imprisonment, adding that “for the fact that Chief Anadu and Chief Kingsley Anyanwu had an altercation and Chief Anadu was charged to court by the police and remanded in a correctional facility and later released, does not mean that he is an ex- convict, because the case is still on going”.

On his fatherly advice to the warring Igbo Speaking Community groups, Eze Nwachukwu sued for peace, enjoined all parties to embrace and exhibit brotherly love, to move Ndigbo affairs forward . “They need peaceful solution to resolve their differences”.

IGBO I, enjoined all Igbo residents and the general public to disregard any contrary, myopic, inciting statements and publications, noting that “such narratives are baseless, irresponsible from unserious minds”.
