According to the Senate Spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu, who confirmed the news, the senator was in good health and in communication until late last night.

Senator ubah who died of cardiac arrest in London at the age of 52 had traveled to London to attend his son’s graduation ceremony.

Until his death, Senator Ifeanyi ubah served as the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream and was a two-term senator.

His passage has sent shockwaves through the Senate and beyond.

Eze Omeiheukwu, fondly described as  His Royal Majesty, also used the opportunity to advise Ndigbo in Amuwo Odofin and indeed Lagos State not to participate in the planned protest by faceless groups against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Eze Omeiheukwu, who stated this is a telephone interview with News planet International earlier today ,

explained that protest is not what we need right now at this critical condition rather prayers for God’s intervention over the security and economic challenges facing the country.
He assured the Lagos State Government and the party leaders in the State that Ndigbo will not participate in the protest and will continue to cooperate with them to maintain peace in the State.
Eze Chukwuka stated that embarking on protest will cause more hardship to the people now that the Government is looking for ways to revamp the economy. He said that the faceless people, who are busy mobilizing people to embark on protest, will only worsen the situation.
He declared that Ndigbo will not participate in such senseless protest in Amuwo Odofin LG and the entire Lagos State.
Though he acknowledged that Nigerians are suffering due to the economic problems facing the country, but reasoned that embarking on protest was not the option because hoodlums will use the opportunity to destroy lives and property in the State.
He stated that he has been going round the Amuwo Odofin LGA and other places, educating Ndigbo and other ethnic groups on why they should not participate in the protest and assured security agencies, State Government, Party leaders and other critical stakeholders that Ndigbo will not participate in the protest in Lagos State.
Eze Chukwuka urged all Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and give him time to fix the economy and other challenges facing Nigeria while asking that all should be patient with him.
He also urged Ndigbo to continue to support Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration, the ruling party in the State and Federal and continue to maintain peace while doing their normal businesses across the State.
He also commended the Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA and his entire team for their efforts in bringing development to the grassroots and prayed that God should continue to bless them.
“Let’s give President Tinubu more time, he is just one year in office and he needs more time to implement his policies in order to improve on the economic hardship many people are facing in Nigeria” he said.
He also called for peace and unity among the ethnic groups and posited that it is only when there is peace and unity, that Nigeria will surmount all economic and security challenges facing it.
The position of Eze Prosper Chukwuka was in line with the position of the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade, who has also warned against embarking on such protest and called for the stakeholders to educate their people especially the youths in their areas not to participate in the protest because the Police will not allow the destruction of lives and property as the case of EndSARS protest.
