Three hundred and eighty-nine (389) confirmed cases were reported in the last 24 hours in twenty-three (23) states – Lagos (66), FCT (50), Delta (32), Oyo (31), Borno (26), Rivers (24), Ebonyi (23), Edo (23), Anambra (17), Gombe (17), Nasarawa (14), Imo (12), Kano (12), Sokoto (12), Jigawa (8), Ogun (7), Bauchi (5), Kaduna (2), Katsina (2), Kebbi (2), Ondo (2), Abia (1) and Niger (1).
No new state recorded a confirmed COVID-19 case in the last 24 hours. The total number of states including FCT that have reported at least one confirmed case in Nigeria is still 36 (35 states + FCT).
One hundred and thirty (130) cases were discharged in the last 24 hours in eleven (11) states – Lagos (42), Kano (33), Rivers (26), Kaduna (8), FCT (5), Delta (4), Sokoto (4), Borno (3), Bauchi (2), Osun (2) and Katsina (1).
Nine (9) deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in seven (7) states – Kano (2), Ogun (2), Bauchi (1), Enugu (1), Gombe (1), Katsina (1) and Rivers (1).
