AIG Alabi Hands Over To Idowu Owohunwa As Lagos CP

AIG Abiodun Alabi has formally handed over the administration of Lagos State Police command to commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa today.
The ceremony took place at the Command Headquarters, Ikeja, Lagos.
It would be recalled that AIG Abiodun Alabi, formerly CP Lagos , has been promoted to Assistant Inspector General of Police , AIG , and moved to Zone ‘2’ Command, Onikan, Lagos.
His Successor, CP Owohunwa , hails from Kogi State and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Studies and Policing from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
He is also a proud holder of Diploma in Police Strategic Management from the University of Virginia, USA. He is a graduate of the globally recognized FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, USA.
He served as Principal Staff Officer to the Inspector General of Police, PSO, between 2015 and 2016, PSO to the immediate past IGP, Mohammed Adamu. He was still a Principal Staff Officer to IGP Alkali Baba until his appointment.
