TEARS OF JOY , ENDLESS APPRECIATIONS , AS EZE CHIKA NWOKEDI, FETES POOR,SPLASHES PALLIATIVES ON WIDOWS, WIDOWER, LESS PRIVILEGED CITIZENS IN LAGOS. Watch Video Below.

Tears of joy flowed like torrents, praises, prayers and good wishes from the wretched of the society,went up into the high heavens, as the renowned Philanthropist, cheerful giver put smiles on the faces of the down trodden citizens.

For some of the over 200 beneficiaries,  it was a kind of emancipation from from excruciating poverty which have been visited upon the poor masses by bad leadership and mindless governance.

The occasion tagged Okpoko 1 and His Cabinet put Smiles On 170 Widows and Widower, took place on December 14th, 2023, at Eze Nwokedi’s palatial Palace located at Ijegun, Ikotun, part of Lagos.

As early as 6am, some of the Widows and less privileged people have started converging at the palace, waiting for the commencement of the end of the year palliatives slated for 10am.

When the emotion packed event finally commenced, many of the less privileged beneficiaries, could not hold their tears,as they were handed over a 10 kg bags of rice, a 70 kg carton of noodles, a tuber of yam, 6 yards of fabrics (Wrapper) ,packaged food and drinks, while some received some amount of money.

Moderating the sharing process with her wife, Ugo Eze, (Lolo) Chika Nwokedi, the Eze popularly known as Okpoko 1, thanked God for making it possible for him to continue achieving his yearly empowerment, palliatives and vision for the poor masses and Widows, which he started over 15 years ago.

He prayed and assured that with God’s providence, he will double the number of Widows and other beneficiaries and the gift items in 2024.

All the beneficiaries made up of Widows, widowers, indigent members of the society from all tribes,police officers, Journalists, Igbo groups, Ezes, Chiefs, palace workers , smiled home with gifts of various categories, while foods and drinks were not in short supply.

High point of the event was the special gift of N40,000 , food items to an epileptic single mother,Nkechi Ngamumeduru , also gifts of a 50 kg bag of rice, other gifts,to a mother of quadruplets and the husband, Mr. and Mrs. Uwaoma Odili.

Speaking, Eze Ndigbo Lagos State,His Highness ,Eze Dr. Uchechukwu Nwachukwu JP, Igbo 1, praised Eze Nwokedi for his large heart , the spirit of giving,love and heart felt welfarerist empowerment for the less privileged, which he said ought to be done by government.

He chastised Eze Nwokedi’s Critics , other Igbo Leaders, Stakeholders and Ezes, who despite their wealth and years on their thrones, lacked the vision of giving back to the society .

Contributing, CEO, Vitson Ltd , Board Of Trustees,BOT,Chairman, Oduade  Plumbing and Building Materials Market,Lagos,Onwa Ikwuano Obodo Ukwu,Chief Vitus Chukwudubem Uzoh, extolled Eze Nwokedi’s virtue,prayed God for more blessings on him and urged him to continue the good Job.
