As Support, Commendations and Solidarity flows like torrents during raining season, Igwe Nri Ancient Kingdom and a first Class Eze in the Anambra State Council Of Traditional Rulers , His Royal Majesty,Eze Ikenna Obidiegwu Onyesoh,JP, MFR, has joined numerous well meaning Igbo leaders, sons and Daughters, to express his strong solidarity with the Mayor Elect and Chairman of Chisco Group, Chief Chidi Anyaegbu , over his December 16, 2024, Conferment of Mayor Ndigbo World Wide.
News Planet International reports that, Ndigbo at home and in Diaspora have continued to show their support through their congratulatory messages.
On December 16, 2024, being Tuesday,all roads leads to Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island , lagos, where the Chairman of Chisco Motors, Chief Chidi Anyaegbu, would be conferred with the title ” Mayor of Ndigbo Worldwide”.
Indeed, Eze Nri Onyesoh, who is the Regent to Nrienwelana 11, many top brass Igbo traditional Rulers from South East, were said to have already confirmed their support and participation at the August event Slated for 4pm but strictly on invitation.
In his solidarity and congratulatory message to Chief Anyaegbu and the Organizers, Eze Nri Ancient Kingdom stated Thus: “On behalf of the Ancient kingdom of Nri, I extend my heartfelt support for the Mayor Ndigbo event and congratulate Chief Chidi Anyaegbu on this well deserved honour”.
He said: “This historic initiative celebrates Igbo unity, excellence, and identity and I commend your efforts in fostering collaboration and pride among our people. It is a beacon of hope for Ndigbo Worldwide showing the strength of our heritage and community. ”
Besides top class traditional rulers from the Southeast, other Igbo leaders, market leaders, captains of industry and representatives of Igbo associations have signified their participation in the epoch making event.
Chief Anyaegbu, who holds the Chieftaincy title as Okeiyi Amichi, is being honoured for his enormous contributions to the progress of Ndigbo over the years.
The event will be attracting very important dignitaries from across Nigeria under the Chairmanship of the CEO of Air Peace, Dr Allen Onyema.
The Royal Fathers of the day include the Ooni of Ife, HRM Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, King Jaja of Opobo Kingdom, HRM Dandeson Douglas, Chairman Nasarawa State Council of Chiefs and Emir of Lafia, HRM,Sidi Bage Mohammed.
The Chief Host is the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, while the Special Guests are the former Presidents of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and Dr Goodluck Jonathan while the host is the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The Guests of Honour are the Governors of Eastern States comprising Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, Abia, Imo States, including Alhaji Aliko Dangote and Chief Engr. Authur Eze.
Speaking on the event, the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State, Mayor Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, said it is the dawn of an interesting era for Igbo men and women worldwide.
