Ndigbo Leadership Vacuum Ends, As Chief Chidi Anyaegbu , Chairman, Chisco Group,Becomes Foremost Mayor Ndigbo On December 16,2024

It appears that Ndigbo have finally been liberated from the shackles of inadequate,epileptic and obvious  leadership vacuum created by the exit from office of great men like Chief Nnia Nwodo , demise of leaders like Professor George Obiozor and  Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu from the political cum Pan –   Igbo Apex Socio-Cultural leadership setting.

This is affirmed so,with the forth coming conferment of Mayor Ndigbo title to an illustration son, patriot , statesman and internationally acknowledged Philanthropist, Chief Chidi Anyaegbu, Chairman, Chisco Group.

For the greater population of Ndigbo world wide, their greatest Day In this Century is December 16, 2024, because Chief Anyaegbu as a man with impeccable character ,is not the type that challenges any authority but collaborates with them for development.

News Planet International  reports that Chief Dr. Chidi Anyaegbu MFR, CON, Chairman Chisco Group of companies, will be bestowed with the title of Mayor Ndigbo on December 16, 2024 at Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Feelers from Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide forum,prominent respected professionals and astute Captains of Industry in the Diaspora and in Nigeria, such as Barrister Charles Nduka , confirms that Chief Chidi Anyaegbu’s Mayorship, is indeed a new dawn of an interesting era for Igbo men and women worldwide.

Ever since five months the committee has been sitting,there has been wild jubilation across many Igbo divides, that God has answered their fervent prayers,in view of the fact that Ohanaeze Ndigbo ,which ought to be a Socio-Cultural identity of Ndigbo, has been over politicized and consequently been hijacked by politicians, thus with Chief Anyaegbu’s emergence as  Mayor Ndigbo, neglected business men and women of Igbo extraction ,now have a veritable voice of their own indeed.

This is because Chief Chidi Anyaegbu a  confident grassroots person in leadership, with a unique, uncommon  particular behaviour not easily seen amongst the rich in Nigeria. 

For instance, the worst anyone can do to himself or herself,is to go to Chisco , with the intent to blackmail anyone while in pursuit of favour.Or  trying to present oneself superior to any other human being that is created by God. Such negative behaviors are repulsive to Chief Anyaegbu.

According to a prominent Igbo leader,  CEO, Aguene Arts Foundation and Ohanaeze Ndigbo President, Lagos state chapter,Lord Mayor, Ambassador, High Chief Solomon Aguene, “Chisco s a born leader, Iam happy about the emergence of Chidi Anyaegbu as Mayor Ndigbo.He is a that if you tell him any negative story about someone, he will tell you that you are the one who has something in common with the person. So, for him, he can only talk about someone he is close to.

As encomiums continue to pour like torrents, another Igbo man resident in the United States of America (USA), Engineer Daniel Duruzor, eulogized  Chisco, saying “that one of the greatest but unique quality and asset that Chief Anyaegbu possesses , is that besides being a self made super multi billionaire in any currency you can think of, he is a humble,natural born leader that is very accessible to all class of people, irrespective of your status and class”.

Continued He : “It doesn’t matter the kind of problem you bring to Chisco, he must assist you as far as it has nothing to do with criminality.You can’t approach Chisco with anything that has to do with criminality. So, it is congratulations to all Ndigbo and Nigerians generally. Now, we are having a leader who nobody can corrupt with money.

Truly, “he has been working with almost all the Heads of State, from General Abacha till date.A man that do not need to book one year appointment to visit the Presidency, should there be issues affecting Ndigbo”, Duruzor said.

Speaking also from his USA base, Professor Alex Rajis, captured the essence of the  conferment on Chisco, when he suggested that Every Union, Association and group should from now key under and access their bearings from the office of the Mayor Ndigbo.

He therefore noted thus :  “Nigeria current President , Bola Ahmed Tinubu,has been Chief Anyaegbu’s friend since when he was working in Exxon Mobil , that was even before he  became the governor of Lagos State.President Tinubu knows Chisco as a man of integrity.He can give the story of Chisco more than any other Lagosian”.

Rajis further said, “Quote me, Chidi Anyaegbu is one of  Nigeria’s businessmen who have no criminal records till date, neither is he into corrupt dealings with government or dealing with individuals”.

Congratulating Ndigbo on the emergence of Chisco , Rajis further said thus :” Chief Anyaegbu ,has been able to extend his real estate business to Canada, UK , USA and other parts of Africa, just as his  transport business has extended to many African countries,yet, his humility cannot be over emphasized. Seriously,Ndigbo, you have gotten it right this time”.

Chief Anyaegbu’s good records seems unequalled and unending,as another business Mogul, Chief Chigozie Agazue, certified him as a man that can speak on behalf of business men and intervene for politicians who are having issues among themselves.

“Chisco has it all. That is why millions of Ndigbo are confident that we have gotten a leader who can speak especially for businessmen and women.It is a known fact that Ndigbo are predominately traders and for almost a century, nobody has been speaking for Igbo business men and women.Most of government policies affect Igbo businessmen because that is their calling.We have gotten the mouth piece for Ndigbo in business all over the world”, Agazue said. 

While further reeling out his credentials and achievements , Chief Agazue , noted that everyone can see and say some things Chisco has done for humanity.

He is a man who has it all and has transversed from different endeavours.He is a man with midas touch, who has made successes in business concerns spanning in various sectors, transport, oil and gas, health, finance, aviation, real estate, logistics to mention just a few”, he said.

Giving insight into Chisco massive empire, Agazue,noted that Chief Anyaegbu  has invested massively into education , such as in building schools, giving scholarship to indigent students and funding universities. 

In the bid to promote the evolution of transport and to facilitate the training of personnel proficient in transport management, Chisco ,as a guru in the sector ,instituted Chidi Anyaegbu Endorsement for Transport Studies in Nnamdi Azikiwe University Akwa.

Hence the faculty became the first Transport Faculty in Nigeria University.

As Chisco is household name not only in Igbo land but also in Nigeria, his transport business, Chisco transport Nigeria Ltd, is the most popular transport company in Nigeria with routes covering the entire Nigeria landscape and West African coast.

On employment, Agazue said Chisco has more than 4000 Nigerians in his pay roll as workers under his conglomerate.

This Mayor Ndigbo Man of the Moment, has noble strides in promoting the cause of humanity , which have earned him various awards and recognitions from different quarters.

To cap it up, Chief Anyaegbu,has also built churches, health centres not only in Nigeria but across African countries.
