For the numerous guests , family, friends, Well-wishers and Fun seekers that trooped to attend the one year anniversary and official Relaunching of Mecvilla Executive Garden Hotel, located at Ile Epo Area of Ejigbo LCDA, it was a long night and night to remember.

News Planet International that did coverage of the event, reports that many of the guests gave excellent testimonies about the hotel’s unique customer Service.

This is even as one of the female guest who identified herself as Miss Miriam Adedamola Oyewole,  described her experience and assessment thus  : “the one year anniversary and official Relaunching of Mecvilla Executive Garden hotel,was a promise kept, it a total package of fun, from the Master of Ceremony MC led by Ekwemba Jonathan, the Disc Jockey,DJ, the mouth watering dishes ,  chilled drinks, the  frightening , heart beating Acrobatic displays by some Youths and the steady uninterrupted electric power supply through out the night, I doff my hat for the hotel Management”, she said.

Indeed, guests experienced and enjoyed unlimited entertainment, as Ambassador Nwoye,who is the Bobaselu Of Ejigbo Land in lagos State, “Ochiri Ozuo “of Uga Community in Anambra State and Eze Ndigbo in Ejigbo LCDA, proved his mettle as an accomplished hotel business expert ,by ensuring that all the invited guests, friends and well wishers, including his Palace Chiefs and cabinet members, Ndieze  Ndigbo, represented by Eze Peter Umeh, Eze Ndigbo 1 of Mushin ,popularly known as ‘Janganza ‘ with his wife ,Ugoeze Nneka Umeh, were giving a befitting reception and entertainment.

Mecvilla Executive Garden Hotel is a 20 rooms lodging  hospitality outfit, located at 36, Alhaji Adams Street,Ile Epo, Ejigbo lagos , which was formally under the management of an astute and never say no hotel and Tourism Expert, Eze Dr.Alex Sunday Nwoye, but now under a new management led by a young dynamic, resilient and innovative internationally acknowledged Chef, Mr. Uchenna Nwoye, who remarkably is Eze Nwoye’s Biological son.

Speaking with the News Hunters at the event, Eze Nwoye stated that his primary target was to provide comfort away from home to customers within and outside Lagos State.

The new Mecvilla Executive Garden hotel which is being relaunched one year after it was declared opened , is seen as a replacement of the Original Mecvilla at Mechanic area, which unfortunately was demolished by the the Lagos state government task force some years ago.

According to the new CEO, “providing comfort and adequate Customers satisfaction is one of the primary goals of the Management, hence the garden offers different kinds of dishes- local, African and continental,  with well furnished rooms and 24 hours power supply guaranteed. We also offers choice drinks including local palm wine, brandy, Whiskey etc.” 

Little wonder Mecvilla Executive Garden motto is  “Experience the Epitome of Comfort!”

Eze Nwoye also noted that”But today, this is what we have in remembrance of the old. We are relaunching today as it was formally opened partially last year.” “Today, I am handing over this place to my Son. He takes over, so we are celebrating that. We are creating awareness for our customers to know that Mecvilla is back uniquely with good food, lodging, event center and all sorts of entertainment, drinks and dinner at affordable prices. A professional chef runs this place now. This place is on Google and you can read about it anywhere in the world.”

Giving reason why he ventured into hospitality business , besides other of his businesses, Eze Nwoye explained that since 1980 he has trained many people in businesses and they are doing well before he ventured into hospitality business. He stated that he has been creating job opportunities for youths by engaging in things that will create job opportunities, which the hotel business offers.

He passionately pleaded with respected leaders to create employment opportunities for the unemployed Nigerians youths wherever they find ourselves instead of living false lifestyles.

“Creating jobs is my priority for now as a committed community leader” Nwoye said.

Collaborating his husband statement and looking into the future,Lolo Chika Nwoye, projected that in the next five years, Mecvilla Executive Garden will be competing with five star hotels.

“It is one of its kind in Ejigbo, Lagos. We offer comfortability, 24 hours light and local/ continental dishes” she stated.

The  CEO, Chef Uchenna Nwoye, who incidentally is Eze Nwoye’s Son,explained the appreciable progress made so far, since he recently took over management about three months ago.

 “I am Eze Nwoye’s first son. I took over the management recently from past managers.As a professional Chef , I  manage the place in Spite of my other engagements.Iam aware of the peculiar problem Mecvilla faces, which prompted me to leave where I was to see what we can do here.”

“In three months, I have observed, learned and changed certain things and I can assure you there are improvements. so far so good. Customers service is now excellent and once your clients are happy with your service, business grows. Challenges have been here are  irregular Electric power supply, bad road network, but I will make it worthwhile and make sure that customers find reasons to come here.”

“I just want growth and consistency, making this place an escape from the chaos of life, having a good time and comfortability. I can guarantee that if you take your time and come to Mecvilla Executive Garden, you will be satisfied and happy. The members of staff are trained everyday and our food services is excellent. Like I said, I have gone through training myself as a professional chef. Our rooms are all new and well maintained. Kitchen Services are good, stable light and cold drinks. This anniversary is meant to stamp our presence in the community and let the people know that we offer the best services” Uchenna  stated.
